Wiley Go Green Club Rules
Student Behavior
The Go Green Club joins the rest of the Wiley Community in practicing Positive Behavior Support. Students are expected to follow the WCPSS Student Code of Conduct and the Wiley Way at all club meetings and activities.
At all times, you should be able to say these things about yourself:
Respect Yourself.
I have ideas that I can share in a positive way.
I will be a good example to those around me.
I am a leader in my school and community.
Respect Others.
I will listen to others' ideas with an open mind without interrupting.
I have kind, positive words to say to my fellow club members at all times.
I will work with others as a team to achieve our club goals.
Respect Property.
I will take care of the spaces we use as a club.
I will put away the things that I use and help others clean up at the end of club.
I will take care of our environment - natural and built - and help protect it for our future.
Parent Responsibilities
Drop Off Policy
Parents should drop off club members in the carpool loop by 8 am, being late disrupts club activities.
A Parent Volunteer will be at the carpool loop to meet the children from 7:45-8am.
If you are early, you must walk your child into the Art Room or wait for the Parent Volunteer to arrive before dropping off your child.
If you arrive after 8 am, you MUST walk your child to the Art Room. Students may not be dropped off unless a volunteer is present.
If school is delayed due to weather, the club meeting will be canceled.
Volunteering
All Volunteers must register through the WCPSS volunteer registration intranet site at Wiley or another WCPSS school.
This club is free to all students and can only be run through the help of parent volunteers.
It is being run by a parent volunteer willing to spend every Friday morning enriching the lives of students at Wiley. (and I am not a morning person)
Each family must volunteer once during the quarter for each child in the club and must arrive 20 minutes early on their day.
Volunteers must sign up for their morning before each quarter's club begins.
If something comes up and you cannot fill your volunteer slot, you must find a replacement.
Please go to the Volunteer sign up in the Go Green Hub on Wiley's Memberhub.
